NPP worked but only God knows why we lost – Wontumi

Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Wontumi, has remained resolute following the party’s loss in the 2024 elections.

Despite the NPP’s efforts to retain power, Chairman Wontumi expressed that only God knows the reasons behind their defeat in both the presidential and parliamentary races.

Speaking on Asempa FM, he urged the party to stay hopeful and focus on strengthening their organization for a comeback in 2028. Wontumi encouraged NPP members to learn from the loss, stressing the importance of unity and perseverance.

The NPP faced a significant setback in the Ashanti Region, losing key constituencies to the NDC.
