Prominent broadcaster and New Patriotic Party (NPP) sympathizer, Okatakyie Kwame Afrifa, has openly criticized some senior figures within the NPP, blaming them for the party's defeat in the 2024 elections.
The Electoral Commission (EC) officially declared NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama as President-elect, with a significant 1.7 million vote margin.
Afrifa, who actively campaigned for the NPP, shared his views on social media, naming five key individuals he believes contributed to the party’s loss.
The list includes President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, Senior Minister Yaw Osafo-Maafo, Presidential Secretary Nana Bediatuo Asante, and influential figure Gabby Otchere-Darko.
In his post, Afrifa implied these individuals played a critical role in the party's challenges, sparking discussions within NPP circles and among the public.
