Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Vice Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has reiterated Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s dedication to transforming Ghana’s transport sector into a model of efficiency, safety, and profitability.

Speaking to the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) and the Progressive Transport Owners’ Association (PROTOA) in Kumasi, Dr. Opoku Prempeh emphasized the importance of transport operators to Ghana’s economy.

He assured the unions that a Bawumia-led administration would introduce policies to improve road infrastructure and reduce fuel costs, easing the burden on transport operators.

Highlighting the Akufo-Addo government’s achievements, including 14 interchanges nationwide, he urged transport unions to support Bawumia in the December 7 elections for a prosperous future.
