Ghanaian journalist Paul Adom-Otchere has been conspicuously absent since the National Democratic Congress (NDC) won the December 7, 2024 elections.
The NDC’s overwhelming victory, with 188 seats in parliament and President-elect John Dramani Mahama securing 56.55% of the vote, has sparked questions about Adom-Otchere’s whereabouts.
Known for his NPP support and criticism of Mahama, Adom-Otchere’s disappearance took a strange turn when the NDC’s Dr. Hannah Bissiw-Kotei revealed that his phone had been found at Heathrow Airport’s lost and found office.
The phone was discovered by a female employee who contacted Bissiw-Kotei, confirming suspicions that Adom-Otchere may have fled to the UK following the election results.
