Police arrest 10 more suspects in Nyankpala shooting incident

Police in the Northern Region have arrested 10 suspects in connection with the Nyankpala shooting incident on December 7, in which a young man was killed.

Two additional individuals are wanted for their involvement in the shooting.

Some suspects have been transferred to Accra for questioning on the orders of the Inspector General of Police.

COP Winful assured the Chief of Nyankpala, Mohammed Ibrahim, that despite possible delays in the court process, the police will continue investigating the case.

He encouraged witnesses to come forward and provide statements to assist in the prosecution.

The shooting took place at the UDS Nyankpala campus polling station.
