The Ghana Police Service has successfully recovered a stolen pickup truck belonging to Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West.

The vehicle was taken during a break-in at her office on December 9, 2024, amidst the widespread unrest following the December 7 elections.

Over 100 suspects have been arrested in connection with the post-election violence.

At a press briefing on December 12, ACP Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director of Public Affairs, confirmed that 17 more arrests had been made in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of detainees to 123.

The stolen Nissan Pickup has been recovered and is now in the custody of the Dansoman Police, with further investigations underway.
