The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged its supporters to desist from unlawfully seizing or destroying government properties allegedly misappropriated by New Patriotic Party (NPP) officials.
In a statement on December 11, Deputy General Secretary Mustapha Gbande called for calm, emphasizing that concerns about government asset misuse should be reported to authorities for proper investigation.
Gbande appealed to NDC youth organizers and executives to prevent disruptive activities, stressing respect for due process during the transition period. He advised against harassing NPP-affiliated officials or interfering with government operations until the transition concludes.
Supporters were also urged to avoid invading government offices and to report post-election recruitment activities to party leadership for appropriate action.
The NDC reaffirmed its commitment to lawful and orderly conduct during this period.
