The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has condemned recent acts of vandalism following its 2024 election victory, urging supporters to celebrate responsibly.

In a statement released on December 9, the party denounced destruction of state property, emphasizing that such actions, whether by NDC or NPP supporters, threaten national peace and stability.

The NDC acknowledged the frustration of the public but called for restraint, stressing the importance of lawful celebrations.

Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the NDC General Secretary, reassured Ghanaians of the party’s commitment to accountability and governance reforms, pledging to address grievances through legal channels.

The NDC urged its supporters to trust the incoming government and await actions in line with the rule of law.
