Rev. Kweku Addo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament-elect for Ablekuma West, has attributed his triumph in the 2024 elections to his accessibility and rapport with constituents.

Speaking on Adom FM, Rev. Addo said his approach to engaging voters contrasted sharply with the incumbent Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, whose perceived arrogance and disconnect contributed to her loss.

“People were thanking me for unseating her. Many said she was proud and couldn’t relate to them,” he remarked.

Rev. Addo condemned post-election unrest, distancing the NDC from individuals who ransacked the former MP’s residence. He urged his supporters to maintain peace and report disturbances to the police.

Expressing gratitude for his 31,866 votes against Owusu-Ekuful’s 26,575, Rev. Addo vowed to serve his constituents diligently.
