Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO), the NPP’s Vice Presidential candidate, has gracefully accepted the party’s defeat in the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
In a statement, he acknowledged the disappointment among party supporters but emphasized respecting the Ghanaian people's choice. He assured that the NPP is committed to learning from this setback and rebuilding stronger.
NAPO revealed that discussions with the party's flag bearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, are underway to analyze the results and identify areas for improvement. He thanked God for the opportunity to serve and pledged to address the underlying factors behind the loss.
“We have heard Ghanaians clearly,” he said, promising humility and collaboration for a better future.
