NDC Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia has emphasized the immense responsibility placed on the party following its decisive victory in the 2024 general elections.
Speaking after John Dramani Mahama was declared president-elect, he urged party members to shift from celebration to action, underscoring the need for focused planning and dedication.
“This victory is a mandate to rescue Ghana,” Asiedu Nketia stated. “We must remain modest in our celebrations and start planning seriously to address the challenges facing our nation.”
He highlighted the trust Ghanaians have placed in the NDC to lead the nation toward recovery and prosperity, calling for unity, humility, and accountability in governance.
“We owe it to the people to restore their faith in leadership and make Ghana great again,” he concluded, signaling the party’s readiness to take on the challenges ahead.
