The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Okaikwei Central has urged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to seek legal redress if dissatisfied with the 2024 parliamentary election results.
Constituency Youth Organiser Dennis Asare, in an Adom FM interview, maintained that incumbent MP Patrick Boamah retained his seat fairly and dismissed claims of irregularities.
“They can go to court; we don’t care. Patrick Boamah won, and the evidence is clear,” Asare declared.
The NDC, represented by Greater Accra Regional Secretary Theophilus Tetteh Chaie, alleged electoral manipulation, including figure swaps and discrepancies in pink sheets. Asare refuted these accusations as baseless and challenged the NDC to provide evidence.
He also criticized the NDC for property vandalism at NPP offices, questioning their motives if they believed in their victory.
