Victim of Sunyani-Asufufu truck accident identified as final-year midwifery student

Margaret Boadi, a final-year Midwifery student at the Catholic University of Ghana, Fiapre-Sunyani, lost her life in a tragic accident on Tuesday night at Sunyani-Asufufu.

The incident occurred when a truck loaded with wood lost control and overturned onto a motorbike. Margaret, a passenger on the motorbike, was trapped beneath the truck and succumbed to her injuries despite rescue efforts.

The unidentified motorbike rider was critically injured and rushed to a nearby hospital.

Margaret, who was also a mother, has left her family, friends, and university community in mourning.

The Catholic University has expressed condolences to her family, describing the loss as deeply tragic.
