Concerns have emerged over the moral credibility of Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, Chairman of the committee investigating the recent chaos in Parliament.

A resurfaced video shows the Ho West MP threatening to physically confront colleagues during a dispute over parliamentary majority status in the 8th Parliament.

In the footage, Bedzrah warned NPP MPs not to occupy seats designated for the NDC majority, stating, “If you try, we will beat you. It won’t be violence; beating someone in the chamber isn’t violence.”

Critics argue that his past remarks cast doubt on his impartiality in overseeing the probe.

With tensions already high, questions remain about whether Bedzrah’s leadership can ensure a fair and balanced investigation into the parliamentary disturbances.
