Chaos in Parliament: Francis Xavier Sosu applauds speaker Bagbin’s disciplinary action

Francis Xavier Sosu, the Member of Parliament for Madina, has expressed strong support for Speaker Alban Bagbin’s disciplinary measures following violent confrontations at the Appointments Committee on January 30.

In an interview with Channel One News, Sosu emphasized that Parliament, as a lawmaking body, should uphold its dignity and integrity, avoiding lawlessness.

He commended Speaker Bagbin for taking swift and objective action in suspending the Majority and Minority Chief Whips, as well as two other MPs, for two weeks.

Sosu praised the Speaker for applying the rules fearlessly and without bias, stressing the importance of maintaining discipline to prevent future disruptions.
