I did not speak against holding wrongdoers accountable or ORAL - Rev. Kwadwo Bempah

Rev. Kwadwo Bempah, Head Pastor of Holy Hill Chapel, Assemblies of God Church, has issued a statement clarifying his comments on the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) initiative during his December 22, 2024 sermon.

Addressing public discourse surrounding his remarks, Rev. Bempah emphasized his support for accountability and good governance, stressing that individuals guilty of corruption must face justice and that the nation's resources should be recovered for the benefit of all.

Regarding his comments on the exchange rate between the dollar and the cedi, the pastor clarified that he did not expect the incoming government to resolve these issues immediately, as they require systematic intervention.

Rev. Bempah also highlighted the importance of hard work and self-reliance, urging church members to focus on diligence and perseverance.

He concluded by calling for prayers for both current and incoming leaders, wishing the president-elect success in their leadership for Ghana's well-being.
