The Nsoatre Traditional Council has set a deadline for the arrest of the suspect behind the fatal stabbing of Kotoko fan, Francis Frimpong, during violent clashes between Nsoatreman FC and Kotoko supporters.

Nana Hinney Marfo, Dabehene of Nsoatre, announced that if the suspect is not in police custody by Friday, the chiefs will perform traditional rites as a show of resolve.

Investigations suggest the suspect is from Berekum, and authorities are actively pursuing him.

The chiefs stressed the historical bond between Asanteman and Nsoatre, urging peace and justice.

Meanwhile, two additional suspects have been arrested, with the police continuing their search for others involved in the murder.
