ORAL Committee targets accountability, not just NPP officials

President John Dramani Mahama has assured Ghanaians that the "Operation Retrieve All Loot" (ORAL) Committee is focused on ensuring accountability across all leadership levels, not just officials of the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.

Speaking at a "Thank You" rally in Cape Coast, he reaffirmed his government's commitment to transparency without bias.

Mahama announced plans to introduce a code of conduct for public officials to reinforce accountability. He stressed that both past and current officeholders would be scrutinized under ORAL.

The committee is expected to submit its report next week, after which cases of misappropriation will be forwarded for investigation.

Mahama pledged to deliver national development while ensuring responsible governance for a better Ghana.
