President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fighting corruption, warning that Ghana will no longer shelter those who defraud the state.
Speaking in Accra at the presentation of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Team’s report, he vowed to implement its recommendations and take legal action where necessary.
Mahama assured that every recovered pesewa would be reinvested in national development, with stronger mechanisms to prevent future losses.
He urged citizens, civil society, and the media to join in ensuring transparency and accountability.
“This is a defining moment in our fight against corruption,” he declared, emphasizing that integrity and accountability will be rewarded while fraudulent acts will be met with swift justice.
