ORAL: Not all corruption cases fall under the Special Prosecutor – Domelevo

Former Auditor-General Daniel Yao Domelevo, now a member of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Team, has emphasized the importance of a multi-agency approach in tackling corruption in Ghana.

Speaking on Joy News’ PM Express, Domelevo addressed misconceptions, clarifying that corruption cases are not solely the jurisdiction of the Office of the Special Prosecutor but may also fall under agencies like the Auditor-General, EOCO, and CHRAJ.

Domelevo highlighted the ORAL Team's preparatory role in gathering and categorizing corruption data ahead of the incoming administration’s tenure. He stressed the significance of inter-agency collaboration, forensic auditing, and timely action in recovering stolen funds.

Domelevo reaffirmed ORAL's mission to ensure accountability and restore public confidence, marking a firm stand against impunity in governance.
