The Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) team, led by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has received its first dossier related to a GHS500 million ghost names scandal within the National Service.
Ablakwa expressed gratitude to The Fourth Estate and Media Foundation for their contribution.
As part of its anti-corruption efforts, ORAL launched new platforms for the public to report suspicious activities, ensuring confidentiality and quick action.
The team is focused on gathering evidence for legal processes, aligning with President-elect John Mahama's pledge to recover looted state funds and ensure accountability.
Critics, however, question the necessity of the team, citing the roles of existing state institutions.
Team ORAL has today received the full dossier on the National Service ghost names scandal which conservative estimates indicate has cost Ghana over GHS500million.
