ORAL Team returns seized Lexus to NPP’s Michael Omari Wadie after mistake

Angel FM has reported that the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team has returned a Lexus 507 previously seized from Michael Omari Wadie, the 3rd National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The team initially confiscated the vehicle, suspecting it to be state property. However, after further investigations, they discovered it was privately owned, prompting its return.

Michael Omari Wadie had earlier expressed his displeasure on Angel FM over the seizure of his property.

The ORAL initiative, set up by President John Dramani Mahama, aims to uncover corrupt practices within public service.

Attorney General Dr. Dominic Ayine has indicated plans to meet with the ORAL team to review the information they have gathered for further action.
