Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Chairman of the five-member committee leading President-elect Mahama’s Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL), revealed that the team has already received over 400 submissions with evidence just 24 hours after providing public contact details.
The committee is tasked with gathering evidence on corruption-related matters, including the US$58 million National Cathedral project and the US$12 million Pwalugu Dam project.
Despite questions about the legality of the committee, Mahama clarified that ORAL’s role is not to investigate but to collect evidence and forward it to the appropriate state agencies for action after the new government takes office.
He urged Ghanaians to continue submitting corruption-related evidence to the committee.
