Senior political analyst Nana Ohene Ntow has condemned the behavior of Members of Parliament (MPs) during the ministerial vetting on January 30, 2025, calling it a disgrace to parliamentary integrity.
Speaking on TV3 on February 1, 2025, Ntow criticized the chaotic scenes and stated that Parliament had become its own worst enemy.
He referenced past incidents, like MPs chewing ballot papers, where no action was taken.
Economic policy analyst Senyo Hosi joined in, calling the MPs’ actions a blatant disrespect for the people of Ghana.
Both experts emphasized that such behavior cannot be tolerated and urged MPs to apologize to Ghanaians.
Ntow also linked Parliament’s dysfunction to broader governance issues in the country.
