The Adhoc Committee investigating the recent vetting chaos will resume its work on Friday, February 7, 2025, following an indefinite suspension on February 5.
According to Committee Chairman Emmanuel Bedzrah, the session will begin with a public hearing of witnesses, followed by a closed-door session for MPs implicated in the destruction of state property.
Bedzrah, in an interview on TV3 on February 6, alleged that the suspension was orchestrated by the Minority caucus, led by Afenyo-Markin.
He claimed the Minority Leader misinformed the Clerk of Parliament, leading to the abrupt halt in proceedings.
Despite the setback, the committee is set to complete its probe and present its findings to Parliament.
