W/R Chiefs Approve Mahama’s ORAL

The Western Regional House of Chiefs has praised President John Mahama for establishing Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL), highlighting its commitment to accountability and transparency.

Speaking at a durbar during Mahama’s Thank You Tour in Sekondi, Nana Kobina Nketia V, Paramount Chief of Essikado, emphasized the chiefs' support for the initiative while cautioning that they are keenly observing its progress.

Meanwhile, President Mahama reaffirmed his commitment to completing the abandoned Takoradi Market Circle redevelopment project.

He assured market women and residents that he would meet with the Finance Minister and the contractor to address funding concerns.

The project, initiated in 2023 under former President Akufo-Addo, has since stalled, raising concerns among traders and local authorities.
