Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has warned of legal action against individuals involved in the Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) initiative if his name or property is cited in their findings.
His concerns stem from reports that a property he has owned since 2006 was scrutinized, with drones allegedly flown over it to determine if it was state land.
Speaking on JoyNews, he accused the ruling NDC of using ORAL to target political opponents instead of focusing on governance.
He vowed to sue anyone who includes him in the report unlawfully.
Meanwhile, Attorney General Dominic Ayine is set to recommend prosecutions based on ORAL’s findings, which estimate Ghana could recover over $21 billion in assets.
