Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has claimed he was the primary target of the disruptions that marred the ministerial vetting process in Parliament on January 30.
Testifying before the investigative committee on February 7, Ablakwa argued the chaos was a deliberate attempt to derail his vetting.
"The sequence of events was not random; it was a calculated effort to obstruct my vetting," he stated.
The clashes led Speaker Alban Bagbin to suspend four MPs, though the decision was later reversed.
The committee, chaired by Emmanuel Bedzrah, is probing the incident.
Ablakwa’s testimony suggests deeper political motives behind the disruptions, adding a new dimension to the ongoing inquiry.
