Former Minister of State, Prof. Kwesi Yankah, has questioned the Attorney General and the Chairman of the ORAL Committee over their handling of financial loss cases.
He argues that the AG has discontinued prosecutions involving substantial sums, including the Saglemi housing project, fertilizer deals, and the ambulance procurement scandal.
Prof. Yankah criticized the ORAL team for overlooking these cases while celebrating their findings on other corruption-related matters.
He noted that despite claims of uncovering thousands of cases and securing billions for the state, some critical financial losses remain unaddressed.
His comments highlight concerns about selective justice in Ghana’s fight against corruption.
