Chairman of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) committee and Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has revealed that the committee’s intervention prevented the demolition of 50 government bungalows.

According to him, distressed public servants reported that private developers were set to demolish properties belonging to key government agencies, including the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Gender, as well as CSIR.

Presenting ORAL’s report to President Mahama, Ablakwa underscored the committee’s critical role in safeguarding state assets.

The report also documented 2,417 corruption-related complaints.

President Mahama commended the committee’s work and directed the Attorney General to act on the findings, stressing that all recovered funds will be reinvested in national development as part of his administration’s anti-corruption drive.
