Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has criticized the recent raid on the residence of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, calling it unconstitutional.
Addressing Parliament on Wednesday, February 12, the Effutu MP questioned the legal basis for the operation, allegedly carried out by security personnel.
However, Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga cautioned against using Parliament to litigate legal disputes, suggesting the courts were the proper avenue for redress.
Meanwhile, security footage has surfaced, identifying a businessman and known NDC member among those who led the raid, challenging claims that the incident was staged.
The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has denied involvement, suspecting an attempt to discredit its corruption probe into Ofori-Atta.
Authorities have yet to comment on potential investigations into the raid.
