The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has cautioned former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta that he will be re-listed as a wanted person if he fails to appear for questioning on June 2.
The OSP clarified that his name was removed from its wanted list in good faith after he assured officials of his cooperation.
However, failure to comply will trigger an Interpol Red Notice and possible extradition proceedings.
Meanwhile, Ofori-Atta has filed a lawsuit challenging the OSP’s actions, arguing they are unjustified and damaging to his reputation.
The legal standoff follows ongoing corruption-related investigations, with the OSP reaffirming its commitment to accountability.
