NPP communications team member Ellen Ama Daaku has criticized the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) for its approach to former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta’s case, calling it "drama and theatrics."
Speaking on Asaase Radio on Saturday, February 22, Daaku questioned why the OSP declared Ofori-Atta a fugitive despite his transparency about his health and travel plans.
She argued that the OSP should focus on actual fugitives, citing ex-MASLOC CEO Sedina Tamakloe.
The OSP had linked Ofori-Atta to alleged financial misconduct but later removed him from its wanted list after he communicated his voluntary return date.
Daaku maintains the case was mishandled, accusing the OSP of misplaced priorities.
