Offenders could face serious charges under Ghana’s anti-terrorism laws and international conventions
The Cyber Security Authority of Ghana has set up a Special Cybersecurity Taskforce in Bawku to investigate and take action against individuals using social media to incite conflict in the region.
The public is urged to forward any digital evidence—such as audio, photos, social media accounts—of those promoting violence.
These materials will be promptly examined for appropriate action. Information can be submitted via WhatsApp to: 050 160 3111.
The taskforce also plans to engage with international representatives to report instigators and seek their extradition.
Offenders could face serious charges under Ghana’s anti-terrorism laws and international conventions related to genocide.
