Legal practitioner Thaddeus Sory has criticized Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng and Parliament over their handling of the raid on former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta’s residence.
Sory questioned Agyebeng’s decision to declare Ofori-Atta a fugitive, accusing him of grandstanding instead of delivering results. He argued that due process was ignored, emphasizing that even biblical Adam was given a chance to explain himself before facing consequences.
He also took aim at Parliament for apologizing to Ofori-Atta while neglecting others subjected to similar security actions.
Sory urged authorities to focus on executing proper legal procedures rather than media statements, calling for a fair and transparent process in handling corruption cases.
