Joseph Yammin, the National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has warned against any future acts of "father-for-all" from NDC members in Parliament or government officials towards the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Yammin expressed his displeasure after Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga apologized to former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta following a National Security search of his residence.
He emphasized that such magnanimity or conciliatory gestures would no longer be tolerated by the NDC rank and file.
Referring to the apology as an example of "father-for-all," Yammin declared that any future apologies to NPP members would not be accepted, urging a reset for the country.
He pointed out that the NPP had never apologized for its treatment of NDC members after the 2016 election loss.
