Two women granted GH₵300k bail in Kotoko fan murder case

The Sunyani District Court ‘B’ has granted bail to two female suspects linked to the murder of Asante Kotoko supporter Francis Frimpong.

Elizabeth Akosua Ntiriwaa, also known as “Akosua Black Chinese,” and Yaa Asantewaa were each granted GH₵300,000 bail with two sureties, one to be justified.

Presiding Judge Eric Daning ordered them to report to the police twice weekly and remain within the Sunyani Municipality for 14 days unless approved by the court.

Meanwhile, two other suspects, Isaac Fosu and Augustine Yeboah, remain in police custody for further investigation.

The murder occurred on February 2, 2025, at Nsoatre during a Ghana Premier League match.

So far, seven suspects, including Nsoatreman FC owner Ignatius Baffour-Awuah, have been arrested.
