Ofori-Atta declared fugitive: Let him carry his own cross – Vincent Assafuah

Old Tafo MP Vincent Ekow Assafuah has dissociated himself from the legal issues surrounding former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, who has been declared a fugitive by the Special Prosecutor.

Speaking to EIB’s Ibrahim Alhassan, Assafuah remarked, “Let him carry his own cross,” emphasizing that Ofori-Atta must face legal consequences without political interference.

The OSP is investigating four major cases linked to Ofori-Atta’s tenure, including the National Cathedral procurement scandal and the controversial SML contract.

Authorities are currently working to locate his whereabouts.
