National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama has instructed the party's Minority caucus in Parliament to reject any attempt by the Majority to reconvene the House before the December 7 general elections.
The Majority group petitioned Speaker Alban Bagbin to recall Parliament on November 28 and 29 to address pressing government matters following its indefinite adjournment on November 7.
Speaking to NDC supporters in Ellembelle, Western Region, Mr. Mahama emphasized that the Minority MPs should prioritize campaigning over parliamentary activities.
He encouraged constituents to vote for Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah as MP, asserting confidence in the NDC’s victory to solidify their majority in Parliament after the elections.
