Former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has assured the public that he has always acted in Ghana’s best interest amid ongoing investigations by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).
In an open letter shared on social media, Ofori-Atta stated that the situation has improved, highlighting an apology from the Majority Leader in Parliament over the national security raid on his residence.
He also noted that the Special Prosecutor has withdrawn his declaration and proposed a June meeting.
Expressing hope for a swift resolution, Ofori-Atta urged the OSP to allow his legal team to engage in the process. Reflecting on his tenure, he reaffirmed his commitment to national service and thanked Ghanaians for their support.
